The selected candidate will provide professional services and support to NSWC Crane Division, including, scouting and assessing advanced technology, administering technology development contracts to commercial DoD contractors, marketing NSWC Crane's technology/systems development capabilities, and managing successful transition of technologies to sponsors such as USSOCOM, JSOC, MARSOC, MDA, STRATCOM, NELO, and DTRA. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for growing relationships with NSWC Crane and leveraging these relationships into contract vehicles and/or CTC work at NSWC Crane

The candidate will also be asked to provide assist with client programs/projects, systems development, and systems integration. Candidates will also assist the client by identifying and implementing standard processes and procedures for work initiation, program definition, and program closure. Candidates will also generate SOWs, work breakdown structures, and proposals. Candidates conduct proposal support and management of deliverables; other duties include gathering and reporting metrics and assisting the client in identifying and documenting requirements.

Successful candidates will possess a BA/BS or MA/MS in a relevant field or business discipline and 6+ years directly related experience. Qualifications shall include evidence of strong interpersonal and communications skills, as well as a ability to work closely with teams composed of governmental personnel and other contractors. Knowledge of Department of Defense (especially USSOCOM), organization, priorities, capability needs, technology gaps, and business processes; CTC processes and procedures are desirable. Desirable experience areas include but are not limited to logistics and supportability engineering, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Experience with programmatic logistics requirements to meet DOD 5000 acquisition rules and regulations required certification/training with knowledge of the DoD-5000 acquisition process. Experience with DoD Program Management offices. Experience with the following systems types highly desired: Tactical Vehicles - light up to heavy, Wheeled/Tracked Vehicles, Mounted Weapon Systems, Ground and Air Missile Systems, Vehicle Mounted CREW-Served Weapon Systems.

Candidate must possess excellent written, verbal, team, and leadership skills. Ideal candidate would be able to act in the absence of the site director and be the face of the company.
