The qualified candidate will be responsible to provide Engineering support for component integration projects in the Advanced Energy Programs Directorate of CTC. Responsibilities include the design development and testing of Human Machine Interfaces and Data Acquisition Systems using Labview Software. The selected individual will be performing report writing, creating graphs and charts from the information retrieved from communication system as well as the potential to manage technical projects. The successful applicant should also be comfortable presenting technical summaries of findings to peers.

The qualified candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering with 4 years experience in the field as well as a minimum of 3 years working with Labview. Candidate should have excellent personal computer and computer network skills and be knowledgeable of computer and instrumentation communication protocols such as MODbus and Ethernet. Applicant should be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint), and possess an aggressive results-oriented work ethic as well as the flexibility and desire to learn and grow within the electrical engineering field. Attributes that are also desired are a working knowledge of electrical utility controls and instrumentation, embedded systems development, and software applications such as; AutoCAD, Programmable Logic Controllers programming, Matlab, C, and PSCAD.
