Candidate leads a five-person Protective Clothing & Equipment (PC&E) Section that cleans, inspects, and certifies Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) for toxic agent operations at the Chemical Defense Training Facility (CDTF) to include standard laundering of clothing worn underneath PPE. This chemical PPE includes select allied military protective masks, U.S. Military series protective masks and accessories for Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, chemical protective overgarments (JSLIST) and accessories, and Toxicological Agent Protective (TAP) aprons. The PC&E Section performs laundering, inspection, repair, and recertification operations on PPE after it is used in toxic agent operations or when mandated by regulatory requirements. Additionally, PC&E Section personnel, unless otherwise directed by the contract project manager, perform maintenance and repair on chemical defense test equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent; the preferred candidate will have a background in U.S. Army Chemical Surety operations with a minimum of two (2) years experience as a U.S. Army Chemical Operations Specialist, MOS 74D40 or in an equivalent civilian occupation. The candidate must possess the Ability to walk, stoops, and bend. Frequently lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 35 pounds. Work will be strenuous, hot, and confining. Stamina and good physical fitness, including respiratory fitness, are of paramount importance. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
