Senior Applications Support Staff

The Senior Application Support Technical is sought to provide support for Information Technology (IT) services at Headquarters Marine Corps Logistics Command, Command, Control, Communications and Computers (HQ MARCORLOGCOM, C4). The candidate will be required to provide a leadership role in web development including: JAVA, Visual Basic, Web Services; Web server administration; and Software design, development, and engineering. This candidate will work closely with the project manager to ensure best business practices as adopted by C4 Director for software hosting and network support.

The potential candidate must possess a Master of Science degree plus at least 4 years of directly related experience information technology (IT) discipline plus at least 2 years of directly related experience or BS plus at least 6 years of directly related mainframe software and maintenance experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong knowledge of web development, programming, web server administration, and software engineering practices.. The candidate must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance. Knowledge of USMC applications and operations preferred.
