Senior Mainframe Administrator Location Albany,GA Job Type Computer-Software Status Open     The qualified candidate will provide support for Information Technology (IT) support services at Headquarters Marine Corps Logistics Command, Control, Communications and Computers (HQ MARCORLOGCOM, C4), Albany, GA. The selected applicant will be required to provide a leadership role in providing mainframe management and mainframe software including but not limited to: CICS, JCL, COBAL, NATURAL and TSO/ISPF as well as providing and OS support, SAN and RAC management. The ideal individual will have mid level java development experience as well. This candidate will work closely with the project manager to ensure best business practices as adopted by C4 Director for software hosting and network support. The qualified applicant should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related degree and 8 years of experience or a MS degree and a minimum of 6 years directly related to mainframe software and maintenance experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong knowledge of mainframe system and administration. The candidate must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance. Knowledge of USMC applications and operations preferred.
