Assistant System Administrator Location Albany,GA Job Type Information Technology Status Open     The qualified candidate will assist the Systems Administrator in managing the activities and operations required to maintain the MARCORLOGCOM C4 servers. Work involves assisting in the development of project plans, processes and procedures to implement and achieve systems and programming objectives. This position requires independent judgment and input to the decision making authority. The selected applicant will possess a background in an information technology (IT) discipline and demonstrate the application of educational credentials in the performance of technical responsibilities. Employees will possess expertise gained through a combination of the requisite training, experience and formal study in one of these IT disciplines: computer engineering, computer science, computer systems, database engineering, information science, information systems, information technology, network engineering, and software. The candidate must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance. Knowledge of USMC applications and operations preferred.
