The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in computer networking security (wireless technologies, firewall, antivirus, Intrusion prevention, VPN systems). The successful candidate must possess a TS/SCI security clearance. This position provides identification/fixing of problems within existing systems, design/implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Participates in analysis and design of wired and wireless network systems. The selected applicant will be responsible for understanding the needs of the customers and mapping those needs to commercially off the shelf IT products and must be able to assist in the integration of these technologies into an enterprise network environment.

The qualified candidate must possess a Master’s Degree and 5 to 7 years directly related experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ yrs experience. The candidate must possess leadership skills and be able to conceive and articulate end-user benefits for technical concepts. Experience as a Network engineer/Security engineer with Cisco or Aruba network products is preferred. Experience in an enterprise network environment is desired. The successful individual must have solid technical background with a focus on IT systems. Skill areas include telecommunications (ex. - TCP/IP, WPA, Wireless IDS, VPN, PKI) and operating systems (ex. - Windows, Linux). Familiarity with government certification and accreditation process a plus.
