Senior OS/Web Administrator Location Albany,GA Job Type Supply Chain/ Logistics Status Open     The qualified candidate will provide web systems management of Apache, Internet Information Systems (IIS), Tom Cat, STIG, Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS), Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), and similar web systems. The incumbent will also be responsible for supporting the following operating systems and network components: LINUX, UNIX, Windows, SUN, VMware, Cabling, Keyboard Video Mouse (KVM) and switches. The selected applicant shall provide connectivity from application servers to data storage, including network devices such as switches/routers, Network Attached Storage (NAS), SAN, and NFS. Support also includes but not limited to installing, un-installing and integrating application software over a variety of Operating Systems. The potential candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree plus at least 6-8 years of directly related web experience or MS in an (IT) discipline plus at least 4-6 years of directly related experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong knowledge of UNIX, LINUX and Windows operating systems. Applicants must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance. An ITIL Certification is a plus. Knowledge of USMC applications and operations preferred.
