Senior Database Engineer Location Albany,GA Job Type Information Technology Status Open     The selected candidate will play an integral role in the design and development of information systems using advanced tools and techniques for object/relational database management systems. This position requires experience in data warehousing of disparate, legacy Oracle environments. The qualified applicant will be responsible for requirements analysis, process and data modeling, database design and development, application design, system testing, report generation and developing documentation. The successful individual will be responsible for generating requirements analysis documentation, process and data models resulting from requirements analysis, translating the process and data models into database and application design, developing the database, integrating, implementing, and testing of the information system. The qualified applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or directly related technical discipline, plus 6 years of experience with 2 years in Oracle database engineering. He/She must have experience in the design and development of Database Management Systems, process and data modeling. Experience with Business Objects is a necessity. Strong communication skills, to include verbal and written are required.
