Sr. Web Application Server Administrator Location Albany,GA Job Type Information Technology Status Open     Concurrent Technologies Corporation is seeking a Senior Web Application Server Administrator to provide Information Technology support to Command, Control, Computers, and Communications (C4), Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, GA. The Sr. Web Application Server Administrator plans, coordinates, and directs the configuration of Application Server software components and serves as a liaison between the applications, web portal, operations, and database support staff. The successful candidate will plan and coordinate the deployment of web-based applications on Application Server software and coordinate the implementation of high availability solutions for Application Server software including clustering, load balancing, and fail-over. The preferred candidate will have demonstrated ability to install and configure Oracle Application Server software (including OID and SSO) components, the Oracle middle-tier (including Oracle HTTP Server, WebCache, Application Express (APEX), and OC4J) components, PL/SQL and J2EE applications such as Java Servlets, JavaServer Pages, Enterprise JavaBeans, Portlets, and Web Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Single Sign-On Server, Oracle Portal, and the Oracle Application Server Certificates Authority. Successfully demonstrated knowledge of Oracle Application Server Management and Monitoring Tools, such as Oracle Enterprise Manager and/or Oracle Grid Control is a must. The candidate must be experienced in Oracle Application Express (APEX), applying patches and upgrades, and monitoring and analyzing web traffic. The qualified candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and 10 years experience with at least 3 to 5 years directly related to the focused areas of Network Administration, Information Assurance/Compliance, System Administration [Unix/Linux and Windows], and Systems Security. Or the selected candidate should possess a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and 8 years of experience. The successful applicant must have demonstrated experience with Oracle Application Server (OAS). Experience in Apache, Red Hat EL, Tomcat, BI tools, & COGNOS preferred. An ITIL Certification and Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) is preferred, Security+ is required within 30 days of employment. The individual must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance. Knowledge of USMC applications and operations is desired but not required.
