Director/Executive Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development Location Largo, FL Job Type Executive Management Status Open     CTC is seeking a Senior Business Development Director responsible for providing the business development skills and leadership required to increase business area performance, customer satisfaction, and business capture objectives within the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) as well as other military installations/commands within the Southeast Region. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of the USSOCOM and Special Operations Forces (SOF) Component Commands mission and charter. In this position, the candidate will function as a key customer interface to USSOCOM Program Managers and Program Executive Offices with funded science and technology and mission support requirements. The successful candidate will be an effective leader with excellent team building and relationship management skills able to excel in a matrix environment. This position will be responsible for leading strategy development and business development in the Special Operations support market. The candidate would also be responsible for interfacing with all internal organizations in a manner that promotes a positive and cooperative approach for achieving all business unit objectives. • Current TOP SECRET clearance; a recent SCI would be a benefit. • Masters Degree preferred, Bachelors Degree required • 12 years experience in Special Operations at ascending levels up to senior officer. • Experience at a Component level command is a noteworthy plus. • Extensive market knowledge and Customer contacts in USSOCOM and the COCOM environments. • Strategic thinking, with the ability to create and execute strategies that leads to long term success.
