STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS ANALYST

 

Primary Responsibilities:  As a member of the CTC’s Energy and Environment Strategic Communications Team, you will provide overarching communications and outreach support for the energy and environmental portfolio for CTC’s DoD clients. At times, travel may be required to selected federal installations, conferences, and other events.

 

You will leverage your expertise to develop, maintain, and execute strategic communications, outreach and recognition programs focused on increasing stakeholder and strategic partner awareness. This includes developing policies, tools, and procedures to enable the client to successfully execute engagement activities with both internal and external audiences. Activities will also include participating in executive-level discussions, performing program assessments, and developing installation energy strategic branding and marketing plan(s), briefings, information papers, speeches, and other communication tools. Additionally, you will coordinate Service-wide campaigns and events, to include Energy Action Month, and build and sustain the client’s online and social media presence.

   

Basic Qualifications:     

  • B.A. or B.S. in a relevant field, such as communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism.
  • At least four (4) years of experience in developing or supporting organizational communications activities.
  • Experience with energy and environmental issues and/or DoD organizations.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills for web and print.

Clearance:  U.S. citizenship required.  The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret-level clearance for this position.
