Primary Responsibilities:  Concurrent Technologies Corporation ( is seeking a full-time Network Engineer to join our team.  At CTC, you will work with other motivated, talented individuals who inspire one another in a dynamic team environment.  The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Installation and maintenance of new equipment in laboratory and fielded systems
  • Providing documents as required by the Information Assurance group to assist in certification & accreditation
  • Assisting in troubleshooting escalated network, communication, and software trouble tickets


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of Information Technology (with emphasis in networking) experience.
  • Advanced level experience of Cisco IOS based routers and switches, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager) platform and Call Manager Express, Cisco Unity and Unity Express, ASA 5500-series Adaptive Security Appliances and related technologies (Access Control Lists, Virtual Private Networks, VLANs, routing protocols, and IP convergence), Fortinet firewalls and common server operating systems
  • Familiarity with Brocade switches and McAfee firewalls
  • Strong background in use of serial and IP based (HAIPE) DoD encryption systems
  • In-depth knowledge of application of security fixes or design mitigation strategies for system vulnerabilities.
  • Must be able to communicate with clients and provide remote troubleshooting
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification a must

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional OS/Operating environment (Microsoft/Linux/Cisco) certifications
  • Tactical/deployable system experience

Clearance:  US Citizenship required.  The candidate must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance for this position.
