Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), a leading provider of sustainability and climate consulting services to the federal government, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to support our defense clients in the area of strategic communications. A successful candidate will enjoy working in a small team environment to identify ways to communicate, train and promote sustainability and environmental policies and practices with the DoD community and workforce and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply their knowledge of sustainability to the development, dissemination and presentation of strategic communication materials
  • Develop and implement a digital/social media plan, including website content and layout development
  • Conduct research and analysis for special projects, presentations, information papers, articles, and reports on the many topics associated with environmental and sustainability concerns within federal agencies
  • Coordinate in-person and virtual meetings, conferences, professional engagements and other events
  • This is a telecommuting position with potential periodic support on a client site
  • Some travel may be required

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.Sor B.A. degree requirement in communications, environmental science, or related discipline plus 2-4 years relevant experience
  • Capability to work independently or in a team setting, depending on the particular initiative
  • Familiarity with sustainability framework and requirements
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency using social media platforms and experience with website development and maintenance
  • Self-motivated and quick learner with strong technical writing and communications skills
  • US Citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Federal energy, climate and/or sustainability programs
  • Have knowledge of sustainability drivers and proven experience in developing communication materials for federal agencies and/or the healthcare industry
